What is a Tent Footprint and Why Would I Need One?
A footprint is an added layer of protection from the surface of the ground between the ground and the bottom of a tent.
Save your tent life by adding a footprint. Kelty tents are strong and dependable, but the ground can cause damage to the floor of the tent. A way to help preserve the life of your Kelty Tent would be to utilize a footprint when you’re camping.
Kelty produces footprints for each of their tent models. The footprint is durable and water resistant and helps keep the bottom of your tent protected.
Footprints are designed smaller than the tent model they represent. The design allows for protection from the ground surface along with allowing water runoff in wet weather conditions.
